Integrations to five markets through Lazada, a marketplace with 65M users
Merchants to add Lazada & Shopee SEA channels with just several clicks
Local shipping service provides speedy deliveries to islands
Merchants in Korea are gaining a boost to expand their business to the Southeast Asian market. More selling channels will now connect brands with 660 million consumers, increasing their opportunities for success.
Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 is strengthening its partnership with one of SEA’s greatest online marketplaces Lazada to support merchant exports to more SEA markets.
The two companies will provide sales channels to three new markets, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand, along with existing channels to Singapore and Malaysia. This will bring the total number of connected SEA markets to five. Lazada is one of the biggest online marketplaces in the SEA region, with 65 million members.
Merchants can use Cafe24’s Multimarket Management service to easily integrate the products featured on their online Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) stores to Lazada’s platforms in five different countries. The service allows merchants to see all the orders and delivery statuses on one centralized page, leading to efficient business operations.
Further, merchants can utilize logistics and shipping optimized for the SEA region. Lazada Global Shipping (LGS) supports fast and precise international delivery for packages headed to island addresses.
Cafe24 plans to leverage its global partnerships to add more markets where merchants can do business. The SEA region has a population of 660 million. As demand for Korean products rises in the area, Korean merchants can expect to reap success.
Jaesuk Lee, CEO of Cafe24, said, “Korean products are popular in SEA, where the e-commerce market has excellent growth potential.” He added, “Cafe24 will continue to establish partnerships with various companies to support our merchants’ global success.”
Meanwhile, Cafe24 partnered with Shopee in October of last year for system integrations. Shopee is one of SEA’s fastest-growing online marketplaces with 1.2 billion cumulative orders and 17.6 billion dollars in cumulative Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
